SYNOPSIS:
Ekjut understood the mental, social and cultural fabric of tribal communities in Jharkhand and Orissa to design community based interventions that target health issues. The film profiles their efforts and the community’s participation to marry traditional wisdom of medicine with modern practices in order to tackle infant mortality and maternal deaths.
