SYNOPSIS:
When Timbaktu Collective approached us to make a film on their women’s co-operative, we chose the story of Malamma and her husband whose little love story is an ode to how small savings by a semi-educated, entrepreneurial woman can lend prosperity and dignity for her entire family.
