SYNOPSIS :
When the International Water Management Institute approached us to make a film on farmers in Western India embracing solar power to irrigate their films, we knew that there was a compelling story in the making. With a focus on the complexityof the issue of using groundwater responsibly, our job was to translate a 200-page research finding (by some of South Asia’s finest groundwater researchers) and translating it into a visually captivating story of a farmer, credited asIndia’s first 'sunshine farmer'.
